Babysitting our nieces

Brody and Corine went on a cruise this past week and asked Jake and I to watch their girls. We had a lot of fun! These girls are so easy to tend! I just hope our little boy will be half as good as they are. Here's what our week consisted of:

Lots of coloring and art

Playing with Jake. In that picture of Jake with the rubber glove, he is getting ready to change one of Ivy's stinky diapers. Makenzie ran in the other room and said, "Here Jake! My dad likes to use these!"

Lots of hairdos and makeovers

Lots of trying to figure out what Ivy likes to eat.

One day we went to Gardner Village to look at their Halloween witches and ride ponies.

We had so much fun with the girls and now we are going through withdrawal since we don't get to see them every day. We love you, girls! Thanks for the fun week!

Braxton's Baptism

Jake and I had a fun weekend in Las Vegas with his family. Our nephew, Braxton, was baptized on Saturday so we drove down Friday night and back on Sunday afternoon. It's nice that the Hackmans live close enough that we can drive to their house for a quick weekend when we need to.

Here's the whole family at Braxton's baptism. It was such a fun day! Jake and I were so happy that we were able to spend the weekend with his family even if it was too short.

Braxton, Kobee, and Dylan. Braxton is a great example to his younger brothers. We love having these boys as our nephews!

I thought this was a great picture of Jake and Zach at the baptism.

LynnAdele, Brandy, and Misty were nice enough to throw me a baby shower while we were down there. We went to breakfast at Mimi's while the boys went to the soccer games. They gave me lots of great gifts that I know will come in handy and I can't wait to use! Thanks again!
