Grandma Nielsen's Visit

We had a short visit from Lynnadele last weekend. She is on her way up to Idaho Falls to be with Misty when her baby is born and we got to have her stay at our house for a night. Bridger was so excited to see her again!

Happy Birthday, Jake!

Today was Jake's 29th birthday! He is getting so old! We had a fun day celebrating. While Jake was at work, Bridger and I decorated the house, wrapped his birthday presents, and made a birthday cake. After work we met Jake and my family at Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Then we came back to our house for cake and ice cream and presents. It was a fun day! You're the best, Jakey! We love you!

Bridger's first tooth

I just noticed Bridger's first tooth come in today! He hasn't been complaining or sad at all so I didn't have any idea it was coming, it just popped out overnight! I'm a little sad about it because it means my little baby is growing up. I'm going to miss his toothless grin. Here's a video of Jake and I trying to get a good view of it without much success:

Grandpa Nielsen's visit

Jake's dad, Craig, stayed with us for a few days this past week. He flew back here to help a friend move back to Indiana. We had a nice time having him visit and Bridger loved having his Grandpa here to play with every day! While he was here we went on a little hike, went to Tracy Aviary, went to Temple Square to hear the Tabernacle choir, and just hung out.

We saw a moose just off the trail. This isn't a great picture but you can see his eye reflecting the light and his little antlers.

Zach's visit

Jake's brother Zach was on his way up to Idaho Falls to visit Misty so on his way he stopped by to say "hi" and have dinner with us. It was good to see him again even if it was only for a minute!

California

This past weekend my mom, dad, Barry, Jake, Bridger, and I drove down to California for my cousin Sara's wedding. We left Thursday night, stayed in St. George, then drove to LA Friday morning. Bridger was a little angel! He hardly made a peep the whole drive 'cause he slept most of the way. The wedding was so much fun and we're glad we got to be there for it.

Lexi's baby Vincent

One of my best friends, Lexi, recently had her baby. Laura and I went to visit her at St. Mark's a couple weeks ago. Her baby is adorable! And he has more hair than Bridger will ever have! I'm so excited for Lexi and her husband. Baby boys are so much fun. Here are some pictures of him:

Jake won a cute picture frame from work that had ten slots for pictures in it so I made a collage of pictures of Bridger and his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. It turned out something like this only the heads aren't cut off like they are here. (I don't know how to fix that!)
