Pres. Monson
One of the many perks of living in Salt Lake City is that you sometimes run into the Prophet at dinner! We went to Little America with Jake's family and while we were eating dinner Pres. Monson was on his way out. He saw the kids at our table and came over to say "hi." The first thing he said when he came to the table was, "Where did that boy get his red hair?" (to Bridger). Braxton and Kobee got to shake his hand and give him high fives. He asked Braxton when his birthday was and when he told him Oct. 7th Pres. Monson told him that date is also he and his wife's wedding anniversary! What a neat opportunity for those boys. They will definitely have something to brag about when they get home.

I'm jealous too! I can't remember if I told you that when Paulo and I were about to be married, we were sitting in the hall outside our sealing room where the sealer was giving us some instruction, and then President Monson walked by right in front of us. Paulo was COMPLETELY star struck, and to this day he reminds me that that moment was totally the highlight of the day for him. :)
Hey Brittney what an amazing experience to meet Pres. Monson! Lucky you! Hope you are feeling well. It will be interesting to see what color of hair your next little boy has :)
