Heber Valley Railroad

Jake was laid off from his job a few weeks ago and since we've had so much free time together we decided to make the best of it and go use all our gift certificates that we have from CityDeals. We had one to the Heber Valley Railroad so we went up there one afternoon and took the boys on a train ride. We had a blast! (As a side note, Jake just graduated with his Master's in Accounting so he is going to study for the CPA exams and get those over with in the next few months then get a job as a CPA.)

The boys are waiting for the train ride. Bridger is holding up his ticket, he's ready to board!

Bridger was really excited to give the conductor his ticket to get on the train!

The best part of the ride was when we stopped at Soldier Fort some cowboys rode up on horses and robbed the train. Bridger loved it although he was quite scared! At least he got to see a real cowboy and a horse.
I had never been on the Heber Railroad before. It was fun to go on a nice, long, relaxing train ride with my boys!

Fun! I've never been either, looks like a lot of fun. That's funny that they have a train robbery!
