Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. We started off the day by going to the library to listen to Halloween stories and trick or treat with my cousin, Jenny, and her boys, Owen and Liam.

The rest of the morning we carved pumpkins to decorate our steps for the trick or treaters. I always want to carve like 20 pumpkins but we only ended up carving 5 this year. Oh well, they were still sweet.

Bridger's pumpkin was the Headless Horseman. Didn't he do a great job?

I carved this creepy one.

And this cool witch's hat.

Jake carved this awesome witch cauldron and another one of the Grim Reaper which I don't have a picture of for some reason.

Graham is ready for trick or treating in his little monkey outfit. I wish he could wear that everyday!

Bridger was a cowboy riding a horsey for his costume. How appropriate?

Jake was the Headless Horseman. He got a lot of compliments on his costume!

I reluctantly dressed up as a mummy again. Here we are just about to start our trick or treating adventure. We went over to my Grandma and Grandpa Smith's first, Vickie Dean's, then my aunt and uncle Lori and Blaine's, Brody and Corine's and then up Lambourne Ave. We walked up to my Grandma Hart's house and visited with her for a while. Then we walked home and stopped at a few more houses on the way. The boys got SO much candy! Luckily, they shared some with us.

Here's how are house looked on Halloween night.

I also spent a good portion of the day cutting out luminaries that spelled out Happy Halloween. It turned out pretty awesome!
