Happy Father's Day!

We had a fun time celebrating Jake's first Father's Day. It started off with an early breakfast in bed.

Then Bridger woke up to wish his daddy a Happy Father's Day!

Then he gave Jakey his present which was a t-shirt with a picture of them on it.

Jake was so proud of his new shirt. I didn't even have to force him to wear it.

I got Jake some new biking shorts so he can mountain bike in style (and comfort).

We went to Grandpa Jimmy's for dinner and wished him a happy Father's Day too.

We didn't get to see Jake's dad but we did wish him a Happy Father's day over the phone. This is a cute picture from when he visited us in March.

Happy Father's Day, Jake! You're the best daddy to our little guy. I couldn't have asked for anyone better! We both love you SOOOOOOO much!

Bridger can roll over!

This morning while Bridger was having some tummy time he got fed up with being on his stomach and rolled himself over. When I kept putting him on his tummy he would just push himself back over. He's getting too big! Here's a little video clip of it:

San Diego

We had a wonderful trip to San Diego with the our Smith family last weekend! Tyler had a great idea to have a plaque made for Grandpa Smith to be put up on Mt. Soledad in San Diego to honor his service in WWII. All the family pitched in to buy it and we told Grandpa about it last Christmas. On June 13th we had a ceremony for Grandpa and unveiled the plaque. All of my mom's siblings got to be there and a bunch of us grandkids came too. My Grandpa built the San Diego temple so his plaque over looks it. We all got to go to the temple together too. It was a special weekend for our family. Here are some pictures from the trip:

This is a picture of us on the plane ride down. I was worried about flying with a baby but Bridger was just perfect both ways!

Bridger enjoying the ride!

Here we are at Mt. Soledad looking at Grandpa's plaque. It turned out to be beautiful!

A close up of Grandpa's plaque.

Tyler is giving Grandpa his POW medal. Doesn't he look great in his Marine outfit?

Our family at Mt. Soledad. We had everyone there except the girls.

Kathy got to meet Bridger finally!

Bridger has a marine cut just like his uncle Tyler. Don't they look like twins?

We had a wonderful trip and Ty and Kathy were great hosts! Thanks for the great time!

Bridger update

Bridger is getting so big! He's about 3 1/2 months old now and he already weighs 12 lbs. We can hardly remember when he was a newborn and it was just a few months ago! Time goes by way too fast. He is smiling all the time now, babbling, laughing, and holding his head up all by himself. Here are a few new pictures and a video of him:

Happy Mother's Day!

I think I have a new favorite holiday--Mother's Day! Jake and Bridger were so good to me today! First off I got to sleep in until 9:30 while Jake took care of Bridger. Then Jake brought me breakfast in bed--a egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich, chocolate milk, and a grapefruit--it was delicious! Jake and Bridger also gave me a bouquet of tulips and some beautiful frames for Bridger's baby pictures. I was so spoiled! After church we had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Hart's with both of my grandmas there. We had a yummy dinner, opened presents, and visited with our family the rest of the evening. It was a great day!

Bridger and Mommy on Mother's Day. He was getting a little grumpy by this time. I love this little guy SOOOO much and I'm very grateful to be his mom! I couldn't have wished for a better baby.

We gave my mom a picture of all the grandkids on my side of the family. We were lucky to get a good picture of all of them 'cause Ivy had a meltdown and we thought we weren't going to get any good shots. Bridger was so good the whole time Makenzie held him which was about 30 minutes.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter! Here are a few pictures from the day:

We had a nice Easter dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Hart's. All the grandkids were there so we got some cute pictures.

Bridger got his own Easter basket even though he can't even eat the candy.

We took Bridger to get his pictures taken in his cute little Easter outfit. He was so tired 'cause it was naptime but he woke up for a minute and smiled once for us. What a good baby!
