Tour of our apartment

For those of you who live too far away to come visit, I'm posting these pictures for you. I've been meaning to put them on here since we got settled in our new place. As for the rest of you, I expect you to come over and visit!

Here's our little townhome from the outside. This was a few weeks ago. Now the tree is bare and the grass is dying.

This is our front room. I bought this whole family room set off KSL.com and got a steal of a deal! At least, I thought it was a good deal. Jake might think otherwise...

When you turn the corner from the family room you enter the dining room.

And here's our kitchen. Our favorite thing about it is that it has a dishwasher!

This is the upstairs bathroom (the only one clean enough to take pictures of!)

And here is the master bedroom. Jake's favorite thing about it is that it has a walk in closet and he can fit all his clothes in there. My favorite thing is the balcony going off it! We have a great view of the city. Check it out:

And finally the best room of the house...the baby's room. I had the week off of work while my dad was in Israel so Jake and I painted the room and got the furniture somewhat situated for FHE last Monday. We are still waiting for our glider to come and we need to buy some bedding but other than that we are almost finished with it.

Here's Jake taking a break from the hard work of painting and putting up the chair rail.

Here's our crib all set up. We got this at a furniture factory that is going out of business down in Orem for 70% off. (If anyone needs baby furniture right now, call me and I'll give you the information to this factory.)

This is the changing table we bought and below is the book shelf we got. (Also from the factory going out of business.)

We will keep you posted on the baby's room once it's all finished and decorated. I think it's one of the funnest things to do to get ready for a baby. Hope you enjoyed the tour!

Britt! Your new place is adorable! Glad to see that you guys are doing so well. Do you have any baby names picked out yet?? I might be home for Christmas - I'll let you know and maybe we can do dinner or something!

Britt, I'm so glad you've finally posted some pics. I've been wanting to see your new place. You have it decorated so cute, I can't wait to see it in person! Are you having a blast getting the nursery together? Ty and I will be home Dec 20-28 so we'll have to get together a bunch! (are Charlie's allowed at your place?) =)

Hi Britt, I just saw your comment on my blog about my Grandma. I love your GUTS!!! Thanks for the note. Your House is so cute. I wish Stewart would let me buy a few things for our apartment, but since we are moving he says "not right now". Anyway, thanks for the tour. I am so excited for you and Jake you are going to be great parents.

I forgot you guys live close to Scooter and Michelle. I love the furniture and ksl.com. The furniture is pretty, I love dark wood. And yes, setting up baby's room is very fun.
