Baby Amber is here!!

Amber Lynn Nielsen was born on March 31st at 3:25 pm. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. She has LOTS of dark brown hair and is beautiful! We are in love with her! Her middle name is after her Grandma Lynnadele (Jake's Mom) and we just loved the name Amber.

I was SO relieved to be done with labor and see that she was healthy! I was also excited that she really was a girl! I had to check and make sure there was no penis first and then I relaxed and just enjoyed holding this precious baby girl.

Mommy, Daddy, and baby Amber. We feel so spoiled to have such a beautiful baby girl join our family! Her Daddy is already wrapped around her finger. She will be spoiled for sure! Here is a good shot of all her hair after her bath. If I didn't see her come out of me I wouldn't have believed that she was my baby! I was totally bald when I was born but Jake said all along that she would have lots of dark hair. (I don't know how he always knows everything! It's like when he tells me exactly what I got him for a birthday or Christmas present right before he opens it). I told Jake that she is the exact baby I would have picked out if you lined up a bunch of babies together! I couldn't be happier to have her and now we are just having fun getting to know her and taking care of her. What an angel!
